Hello to the US from NZ

Well, this took much longer to post than originally intended, but here is our first post abroad. We've got a ton a pictures to get online and stories to tell but for now please enjoy our video collage of our Fiji layover - including, but not limited to, snorkeling, hiking, ocean cave exploring, hermit crab racing, and island hut-dwelling. Chatting with Fiji

Hmm, how exactly do you call Fiji to book your hotel / ferry / whatever? You call them on Skype, of course.  It's super awesome and weird to talk to a Fijian woman at 11pm on your Thursday evening when its 3pm on her Friday, 7000 miles apart. But they sure are friendly.

Step 2!

I didn't realize how easy step 1 with BUNAC "Work New Zealand" was until I looked at all the step 2 documents, but its finally done. Packaged it all together and sent it in: passports, visa docs, flight intineraries (including 5 day layover in Fiji), traveler's insurance paperwork and payment, photos, and bank account statements.

Getting started!

The first step on the New Zealand adventure: applying to the BUNAC program. Made it to post office to get these sweet stamps and mail them out with 3 minutes to spare.
